RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

Adults who have not been baptized (known as catechumens), baptized Catholics who have not received Eucharist and Confirmation, or those coming to the Catholic tradition from another denomination are invited to join RCIA. Preparation begins with an Inquiry period.  For those who decide to continue, certain Rites are celebrated.  Session dates are determined once the groups are formed.  Reception of the sacraments occurs at the Easter Vigil.For more information, please visit southeastcatholic.org


RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation of Children)

Children over the age of 7 who have not be baptized participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation program adapted for children.  Children of elementary school age and their parents or guardians receive basic instruction while preparing for the three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist).
